- He also chaired the Criminal Justice Automation Commission (which he founded) and served on the Guam Legal Services Corporation Board of Directors

- Alberto C. Lamorena III is the Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of Guam, a position he has held since 1988, and is also a member and former chairman of the Guam Judicial Council
- Before joining the bench, Lamorena served in the Guam Legislature from 1979–1988, holding leadership roles such as Minority Leader and Chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means.
- Other Judicial Roles: Former chairman of the Guam Judicial Council; member of the Guam Board of Law Examiners; former special judge on the Supreme Court of the Northern Mariana Islands
- Lamorena presides over General Jurisdiction cases and the DWI Treatment Court in Guam’s Superior Court.
- He also chairs the Criminal Sexual Offender Management Committee and co-chairs the Juvenile Justice Reform Focus Area on the Court Referral Process.
- Lamorena is recognized for his humanitarian service and was named a Melvin Jones Fellow by the Lions Club International Foundation.
