### Professional career

- Judge on the Cherokee County State Court in Georgia, appointed in 2010 by then‐Governor Sonny Perdue, and currently serving his fourth term
- Nonpartisan state court judge and, as of 2024, was running for re‐election unopposed
- Specialized court role: Founding and current Presiding Judge of the Cherokee County Veterans Treatment Court
- Current position: State Court Judge; has also held the role of Presiding Judge of the Misdemeanor Drug Court in Cherokee County
