## Biography

### Professional career

- Judge of the DeKalb County State Court in Georgia, serving in Division A‐1 since 1998, and is the first Asian Pacific American elected judge in the Southeast
- Official court site: DeKalb County State Court – Judge Alvin T. Wong
- The first Asian Pacific American to run for public office in metro‐Atlanta and the first Asian Pacific American elected judge in the Southeast
- Before joining the judiciary, he had 21 years as a corporate and trial attorney, including as a partner at Gambrell & Stolz (now Baker Donelson)

- B.A. from Auburn University (1973) and a J.D. from John Marshall Law School (1976).
