## Biography

### Professional career

- Judge Amber K. Zibritosky was elected to the Stow Municipal Court bench in November 2025 and began her six‐year term on January 1, 2026
- Before becoming judge, Judge Zibritosky was Stow Municipal Court’s Clerk of Courts, elected in 2019 to a partial two‐year term and in 2021 to a full six‐year term.
- Also Stow’s Law Director and Chief Prosecutor for five of the court’s jurisdictions, the first woman and youngest attorney to hold that position in the city’s history
- Summit County Facilities Governing Board and the Summit County Criminal Justice Advisory Board, and continues to serve on the Advisory Board for Oriana House

- In 2025, she was awarded Committee Chairperson of the Year by the Akron Bar Association for her work on the ABA’s Access to Justice Committee
- Earlier in her career, she held the role of Assistant and Deputy Law Director before becoming Department Head
