- U.S. immigration judge who served at the New York–Federal Plaza Immigration Court, appointed by then‐Attorney General Eric Holder in December 2010
- Judicial Service: Appointed to the New York–Federal Plaza Immigration Court in 2010; later held the role of Assistant Chief Immigration Judge, supervising 36 judges and staff
- Judge Amiena A. Khan was a long‐serving New York immigration judge with a record showing a very low asylum denial rate compared to national and court averages, a background in both general and immigration litigation, and a leadership role as Assistant Chief Immigration Judge
