## Biography

### Professional career

- Andrew Given Tobias Moore II (November 25, 1935 – December 10, 2018) was an American attorney and jurist who held the role of a justice of the Delaware Supreme Court from 1982 to 1994
- He also held the role of a visiting professor, most recently at Stetson University College of Law, and was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Laws in 2011

- After retiring in 1994, Moore worked as a Senior Managing Director and Senior Advisor at Dresdner, Kleinwort, Wasserstein, Inc. until 2004, later joining Gibbons P.C. in Wilmington.
- In 1982, Governor Pierre S. du Pont IV appointed Moore to the Delaware Supreme Court.
- Moore was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and attended Tulane University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1958
- After law school, Moore served in the Judge Advocate General Corps of the U.S. Air Force at Dover Air Force Base.
- He was admitted to the bars of Delaware and Louisiana, served as a law clerk to Delaware Chief Justice Charles L. Terry Jr., and practiced corporate litigation in Wilmington for 18 years, primarily at Connolly, Bove, Lodge & Hutz
