- Angela J. Lasher has been appointed as a judge of the 90th District Court by Governor Gretchen Whitmer on January 14, 2020, replacing James N. Erhart

- Also the Chief Judge of the court

- Bachelor’s degree in sociology and political science from Purdue University and a law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School

- Angela J. Lasher is the Chief Judge of Michigan’s 90th District Court, serving since 2020 and leading a court that handles most traffic cases, civil claims under $25,000, landlord–tenant disputes, misdemeanors, and small claims

- Before becoming a judge, Lasher served 15 years as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Emmet County, and she has also served as legal director for the Women’s Justice Center and on the steering committee for Northern Community Mediation.
