## Biography

### Professional career

- Judge O’Conor serves as Chief Judge of the Paulding County State Court and oversees the county’s DUI Court, which began accepting participants in July 2024 and has grown steadily since its launch.
- Chief Judge Angela Reedy O’Conor is the first elected State Court Judge of Paulding County, Georgia, appointed by Governor Brian Kemp and later re‐elected in 2024
- Public Defender: From 2013 to 2017, she was Chief Assistant Public Defender for the Paulding Circuit Public Defender Office; from 2017 to July 2022, she held the role of Paulding Circuit Public Defender
- Marietta Police Department — police officer for six years; completed law school during service
- She works closely with State Court Judge Rountree to serve Paulding citizens and manages the court’s judicial operations
