### Professional career

- She then served as an assistant corporation counsel for the City of Newark and later as an assistant public defender with the Essex County Public Defender’s Office until 1990
- Following this, she entered private practice as a sole practitioner, sharing office space with her brother, Vincent C. Scoca, Esq

### Education

- Seton Hall Law School in — J.D. (1986)
- Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in 1983

- Joined the bench on June 30, 2016, by then-Governor Chris Christie and has held assignments in both the Civil Division (2016–2019, 2021–present) and the Family Division (2019–2021) of the court.
- After law school, she began as a law clerk for the Hon.
