# Anthony Atenaide

Anthony Atenaide was a historical immigration judge at the San Diego Immigration Court. EOIR records identify him by judge code AA, and federal appellate records confirm that he presided over immigration proceedings in San Diego. Before joining the bench, he practiced immigration law; a 1989 Department of Justice administrative decision described his immigration-law expertise and professional leadership. A San Diego Union-Tribune obituary reported that Atenaide was born in Brooklyn, served as a U.S. Army officer, and completed two tours in Vietnam. Methodology and sources

These are proceeding outcomes, not asylum application statistics. Completion years use EOIR COMP_DATE; 2026 contains partial-year data. Relief granted, denied / removal ordered and other / procedural exhaust the recorded outcomes. Groups of one are included. Historical outcomes do not establish a current assignment. Counts describe recorded cases and do not predict an individual's result.
