## Biography

### Professional career

- B. Keith Wood has been associated with the Cherokee County Probate Court since 2004, initially as an associate judge and chief clerk, and later elected as Probate Judge in 2009
- Cherokee County Probate Judge — elected to four-year terms in 2012 and 2016
- Long‐serving, highly recognized probate judge in Georgia, with a strong background in judicial administration and education, and a current role in overseeing specialized court proceedings in Cherokee County

### Education

- B.A. from the University of Georgia (1990) and a J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law (1994).

### Additional information

- In 2015, he was named Outstanding Probate Judge of the Year by the Council
- Registered Republican
- He has been active in judicial education, serving on the Council of Probate Court Judges, helping develop an accredited educational program for probate judges, and chairing its Training Council.
