## Biography

### Professional career

- Subsequently elected as Justice of the Peace in 2012
- Brown held the role of Randolph County circuit clerk from 2000 to 2012 and held numerous party offices, including vice chairman of the Democratic Party of Illinois, president of the Southwestern Illinois Democratic Women, and precinct committeeman.
- Selected as interim Justice of the Peace for the North Canyon Justice Court in 2011 after Judge Mitchell Kaluali resigned to become the Lake Havasu City Magistrate.

### Additional information

- Prior to her judicial appointment, she held the role of the head clerk of the court, gaining extensive experience in court administration.
- The North Canyon Justice Court serves the northern part of Mohave County, Arizona, including areas near the Arizona Strip, Colorado City, and communities along Interstate 15.
- Beyond politics, she contributed to community initiatives such as establishing the Randolph County Relay For Life and was a member of the Liberty Bell of the West chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
