### Professional career

- In 2010, he entered into private practice, specializing in family law.
- In 2002, he started as a Deputy District Attorney in the Adams County District Attorney’s Office, where he served the citizens of the Seventeenth Judicial District for over eight years.
- Began his legal career as a law clerk in Jefferson County, then moved to the Lakewood City Attorney’s Office as a Deputy City Attorney in 1998
