- Brandon L. Rivers is the Chief Magistrate Judge for Crisp County, which includes the cities of Cordele and Arabi
- Prior studies in Criminal Justice at South Georgia Technical College and Darton College

- In 2024, he ran for Chief Magistrate Judge, defeating the previous officeholder, Steven Ingram, and joined the role for the remainder of 2024
