## Biography

### Professional career

- Unanimously elected by the Georgia Court of Appeals judges to assist the court starting August 7, 2023, following the departure of Senior Appellate Judge Herbert Phipps
- Senior Judge of the Georgia Court of Appeals, appointed in 2023 after a distinguished career on the Northeastern Judicial Circuit Superior Court bench
- Chief Judge: held the role of Chief Superior Court Judge from 1998 to 2018
- Superior Court Judge: Appointed by then‐Governor Zell Miller in 1993 to the Northeastern Judicial Circuit Superior Court
- His role is as a Senior Judge on the Court of Appeals, providing judicial services in appellate cases
