- Judge, District Court of Appeal of Florida, 1998-present
- In 1995, she was elevated to the Broward Circuit Court, becoming the first black female judge to serve on that circuit
- Judge Carole Y. Taylor began her judicial career in 1991 when she joined the Broward County Court of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit by Governor Lawton Chiles

- Bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina in 1971 and her J.D. from the University of North Carolina Law School in 1974.

Evidence excerpt: Subject at all times to the authority of the presiding judge to: (i) control the conduct of proceedings before the court; (ii) ensure decorum and prevent distractions; and (iii) ensure the fair administration of justice in the pending cause, electronic media and still photography coverage of public judicial proceedings in the appellate and trial courts of this state shall be allowed
