- The Chief Magistrate Judge of Fulton County, Georgia, appointed in 2014 and elected twice by voters, leading the Magistrate Court with a focus on accessibility, innovation, and community engagement
- The first Chief Magistrate Judge in Georgia’s newly independent Magistrate Court system
- With over 27 years of legal experience, Kirk has held the role of a jurist, prosecutor, defense attorney, civil litigator, and administrative director
