### Professional career

- Charles J. Willoughby, Jr. is an Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, appointed by President Joe Biden and confirmed by the U.S. Senate in July 2024
- 2014–2024: Assistant U.S. Attorney, U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, prosecuting violent crime, cybercrime, and homicide cases
- 2009–2013: Assistant Attorney General, Criminal Division, U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Justice, prosecuting firearms, narcotics, domestic violence, and homicide cases
