- U.S. Marine Corps Reserve (1997–2001) and U.S. Army Reserve JAG Officer (LTC) since 2008
- Law License: Licensed to practice law in Washington since 2000
- Washington State Superior Court Judge serving in Kittitas County, Ellensburg, WA, and also a U.S. Army Reserve Judge Advocate General (LTC)
