### Professional career

- Senior Judge, Third Circuit (1989–1998)
- Collins Jacques Seitz (1914–1998) was a distinguished American judge and lawyer from Wilmington, Delaware, best known for his long service on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and his role as Chief Judge of that court
- 1987–1994: Presiding Judge, U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court of Review
- Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit (1966–1989), appointed by President Lyndon B. Johnson
- Chief Judge, Third Circuit (1971–1984)
- 1949–1951: Justice, Delaware Supreme Court
