- Magistrate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, appointed by Chief Judge Anita Josey-Herring on July 20, 2023
- Administrative Law Judge — Appointed March 2020 by the District of Columbia Office of Administrative Hearings to handle licensing, enforcement, evidentiary hearings, and appellate reviews for various DC agencies
- A native Washingtonian, Judge Chandler volunteers with the National Federation of the Blind Maryland, National Harbor Chapter and lives in the District with one daughter
