### Professional career

- The District Judge for Greene County, Arkansas, appointed in October 2025 to replace Judge Dan Stidham, and is also running for Circuit Judge, Division 4 in the 2nd Judicial Circuit in 2026
- Governor Sarah Sanders appointed Hitt in October 2025 to succeed Judge Dan Stidham, who retired at the end of that year Talk Business & Politics
- District Judge for the Greene County District Court in Arkansas
- Hitt states that he will apply the law “as it is written and even‐handedly” to advance justice, safeguard the Constitution, and preserve the rule of law
- In addition to his current role, Hitt is a candidate for Circuit Judge, Division 4 of Arkansas’s 2nd Judicial Circuit, which covers Clay, Craighead, Crittenden, Greene, Mississippi, and Poinsett counties
