## Biography

### Professional career

- The Chief Justice of the Massachusetts Juvenile Court, appointed for a five‐year term effective June 29, 2024, succeeding Chief Justice Amy L. Nechtem
- Chief Justice Gershengorn was named to lead the Juvenile Court by Trial Court Chief Justice Heidi E. Brieger on June 18, 2024, in accordance with G.L. c.211B,.5

- B.A. from the University of Michigan (1991) and a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (1994)

- She succeeds Chief Justice Nechtem, who retired after 23 years on the bench.
