### Professional career

- In a 2019 Virginia State Bar interview, Judge Whitted described his investiture as a personal milestone, noting his family’s three generations of judges and his grandfather’s legacy as the first African‐American judge in Halifax County.
- Judge of the 1st Judicial District Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court in Chesapeake, Virginia, appointed to the bench on July 6, 2018
