### Professional career

- Appointment: Judge Dickinson joined the Forsyth County Superior Court by former Governor Sonny Perdue on November 7, 2003, filling a vacancy left by the late Judge Richard Gault
- He also worked as an assistant state attorney for the 19th Judicial Circuit in Florida and practiced law in private firms, including co-founding Hamil & Dickinson

- Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Mercer University
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School
