Neupert is a judge of Clallam County District Court I in Washington, serving Port Angeles and Sequim, and is set to retire at the end of 2026 - Executive Director of the Clallam-Jefferson Public Defender (1991–1995), where he was the only “death penalty qualified” attorney in the county - Private practice in criminal and civil law, specializing in municipal law, personal injury, real estate, employment, and probate litigation ### Education - B.A. in journalism from The Evergreen State College (1977) and a J.D. from the University of Puget Sound School of Law (1986). ### Additional information - In January 2025, Neupert also took on a new role as Clallam County’s interim coroner due to state law changes and a vacancy, serving until the county’s charter is amended or a new coroner is appointed. - Elected to the bench in 2018 to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Hon.
