### Professional career

- Appointed a Fayette County judge with an investiture on July 20, 2022
- The Founding and Managing Partner of the Atlanta firm Melnick, Moore & Elliott for over a decade
- He later founded and became Senior Partner of Peachtree Law Group, which now includes sixteen attorneys

- Twice held the role of President of the Fayette County Bar Association, leading it to double its membership and earning multiple State Bar of Georgia awards
- Before becoming a lawyer, he held the role of an Atlanta Police Officer, becoming the most decorated officer in the department, earning Officer of the Year, Public Safety Employee of the Year, and the Mayoral Award
