- Dea M. Lindsey also worked in the area of criminal defense in her own practice and for the Colorado State Public Defender’s Greeley Office for several years after completing law school at the University of Denver, College of Law in 1999.
- representing the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Community Justice Services, the District Attorney and Office of Emergency Management

- Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology, both from the University of Northern Colorado
