## Biography

### Professional career

- In 2023, Perry was appointed Associate Juvenile Judge of Floyd County, becoming the first African American judge in the county’s history
- Associate Juvenile Judge in the Tallapoosa and Rome Circuit Courts and the first African American judge appointed in Floyd County, Alabama
- She also serves as an associate justice in the Floyd, Polk, and Haralson County Juvenile Courts

- She later received her Juris Doctorate from Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 2012.
- B.A. in History from Mercer University.
