## Biography

### Professional career

- Donna Scott Davenport (née Scott) is a retired judge who held the role of the first judge of the Rutherford County Juvenile Court in Tennessee from 2000 until her retirement in September 2022
- She also taught as an adjunct professor at Middle Tennessee State University

### Education


### Additional information

- In 2000, she was elected to the newly created juvenile court judgeship, re‐elected in 2006 and 2014.
- Scott co‐founded Rogers & Scott Attorneys at Law in 1995 and later held the role of part‐time (1998–1999) and full‐time (1999–2000) magistrate of the Rutherford County Juvenile Court.
- She oversaw juvenile justice in Rutherford County, set court protocols, appointed magistrates, and handled cases involving minors, including child neglect
