- Before his municipal court role, Wise held the role of a Judge of the Ohio Fifth District Court of Appeals from February 9, 2017, to February 8, 2023.
- Judge of the Canton Municipal Court in Ohio, serving under a partisan election system, and is a former judge of the Ohio Fifth District Court of Appeals
