## Biography

### Professional career

- In 1996, Lukemire was elected to the Houston County Superior Court and subsequently became Chief Judge of the Houston Judicial Circuit
- In 1989, he was elected Houston County District Attorney
- Retired Chief Judge of the Houston County Judicial Circuit in Georgia, now serving as a Senior Judge of the Superior Courts of Georgia on a part‐time basis
- He then served as an Assistant District Attorney in Houston County, later becoming Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Middle District of Georgia, with assignments in the Federal Drug Task Force

### Additional information

- He was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1980 and first held the role of a law clerk for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia
