### Professional career

- Judge of the Douglas County District Court in Washington, appointed in 2018 to fill a vacancy created by the retirement of Hon. Judith L. McCauley
- Also a commissioner and pro tem judge in Douglas County Superior and District Courts before his 2018 appointment.
- Three years in private legal practice 1991–2014: Douglas County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, rising to Chief Criminal Deputy Prosecutor 2014–2015: Family farm operations 2015 onward: Part-time judicial service

- Bachelor’s degree, Eastern Washington University J.D., Gonzaga University School of Law, 1987
