- B.A. in 1962 and a J.D. in 1965 from Vanderbilt University, followed by an LL.M. in Taxation in 1966 from New York University

### Additional information

- Appointed to the Georgia Court of Appeals by Governor Zell Miller in 1996, Eldridge served eight years on the court.
- Eldridge was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1965 and practiced as a trial lawyer until April 15, 1979.
- Born March 26, 1939, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Thomas Mooreman Eldridge and Leila Elizabeth Mason Eldridge, Eldridge graduated from Westminster Schools in 1958.
- He later held the role of Chief Judge of the Superior Court of Fulton County, District Administrative Judge, and on the Judicial Council and Executive Committee of the Council of Superior Court Judges
