### Professional career

- Long‐time judge of the Auglaize County Court of Common Pleas (General Division) in Wapakoneta, Ohio, having joined the bench in January 1987
- Pepple’s legal career began in 1978 as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Auglaize County, later becoming Prosecuting Attorney — 1981–1986
- practiced law in private practice in Wapakoneta and Waynesfield — 1978–1985
- He has also served as an adjunct professor at Bowling Green State University and the University of Muenster, Germany
