## Biography

### Professional career

- Loxley has held the role of a judge on the Warren County Court since May 2013, initially in a part-time capacity covering about half of the county
- Prior to his judicial service, he served as an assistant prosecuting attorney in the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office for nearly 15 years and engaged in private legal practice in Dayton from 1998 to 2002
- He also serves on the Ohio Attorney General’s Task Force on Criminal Justice and Mental Illness and has been appointed as a mentor and visiting judge by the Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court
- His military service included active duty mobilizations in support of the Global War on Terrorism and leadership roles as a Military Judge in the U.S. Army’s 1st and 2nd Judicial Circuits

### Education

- Bachelor of Arts from Miami University, a Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University, and a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College
