## Biography

### Professional career

- Current Position: Judge Hutchinson serves on the Gwinnett County Superior Court, having been appointed by former Governor Nathan Deal in 2013
- Previous Experience: Before his appointment to the Superior Court, Hutchinson was the Chief Magistrate Judge of Gwinnett County from 2007 to 2013 and held the role of a magistrate judge since 2004.
- Began his legal career as an assistant district attorney in Coweta County and later in Gwinnett County
- He filled a vacancy created by the elevation of Judge William Ray to the Georgia Court of Appeals

### Education

- Law Degree: He completed his Juris Doctor (J.D.) at Emory University School of Law in 1989
