## Biography

### Professional career

- Greg Voyles was appointed as a superior court judge for the Southern Judicial Circuit on September 1, 2020, by Governor Brian Kemp, succeeding Judge James Tunison
- Superior Court Judge for the Southern Judicial Circuit in Georgia, serving Lowndes, Brooks, Colquitt, Echols, and Thomas counties
- Began his legal career working with attorney William E. Moore Jr., eventually forming the partnership Moore & Voyles, P.C., and later maintaining an independent practice
- As a Superior Court Judge, Voyles has authority to hear nearly all civil and criminal cases, except for probate and will contests

### Education

- Bachelor’s degree in political science from Valdosta State University
- a law degree from Florida State University
