## Biography

### Professional career

- In December 2024, McLendon was sworn in as District Attorney for the Dublin Judicial Circuit, covering Laurens, Johnson, Treutlen, and Twiggs counties
- Before entering private practice in 1984, he worked as a state probation and parole officer, then held the role of Assistant District Attorney, Public Defender, and Special Assistant Attorney General.
- He also held judicial appointments as Associate Juvenile Judge and Municipal Court Judge for the City of Dublin
