## Biography

### Professional career

- As of March 1, 2026, he has been reassigned to the Family Division of the Superior Court in Essex County and designated as the Family Presiding Judge
- Fullilove was appointed Municipal Court Judge for the City of Orange in 1988, serving until 1991, when he was elevated to the New Jersey Superior Court
- He then worked at the Essex County Prosecutor's Office (1974–1976) and the Corporation Counsel's Office for the City of Newark

### Education

- He earned his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law in 1973 and was admitted to the New Jersey Bar the same year, as well as to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court in 1985

- In October 2023, he was honored for 50 years of membership in the Essex County Bar Association.
- In 2016, he joined the New Jersey Vicinage 5 Superior Court by Governor Chris Christie, with his term initially ending in 2023.
- In 1976, he joined the law firm Love & Randall and later co-founded Fullilove & Bland, Esqs., in 1984.
- Following his undergraduate studies, he served in the U.S. Army, including a tour in Vietnam, and was honorably discharged in 1970.
