- Judge Heidi Willis Currier is the Chief Judge of New Jersey’s Appellate Division, a role she assumed on September 1, 2026, succeeding Judge Thomas Sumners
- Prior role: Judge in the Middlesex Vicinage (civil and family divisions) from 2004 to 2015, appointed by Gov.
- In her acceptance of the chief judgeship, Currier said she is “committed to maintaining the integrity and quality of this court’s work and continuing to provide the public with the high level of service it expects”
- Currier serves as Chair of the Supreme Court Committee on Judicial Education and is a member of the Supreme Court Committees on Artificial Intelligence and the Courts, and the Advisory Committee on Extrajudicial Activities.
