### Professional career

- Herbie L. Solomon is a distinguished jurist who held the role of Judge of the Dougherty County Juvenile Court in Albany, Georgia, for over two decades before his retirement in December 2025
- From 1976 to 1980, Solomon held the role of a Judge Advocate General in the U.S. Navy at NLSO San Diego, prosecuting over 300 Special and General Court-Martial cases
- Over 20 years as Juvenile Court Judge in Dougherty County
