- Heritage Filer has been serving as a court commissioner since March 2022
- Filer, L.L.P. (2009–2022) and held associate attorney roles at Law Offices of Dancey & Cassady, L.L.P. (2009–2014) and Benjamin Law Group, P.L. (2006–2008)
- She also held the role of a Rule 9 intern and law clerk
