### Professional career

- Beyond his presiding role, Judge Gibson has also been designated as a Wiretap Judge for Atlantic and Cape May Counties, as noted in a separate 2025 Supreme Court order
- Judge J. Christopher Gibson is the Superior Court of New Jersey’s General Equity Presiding Judge for Atlantic and Cape May Counties (Vicinage 1), a role effective April 1, 2025
- A Supreme Court of New Jersey order dated February 19, 2025, formally designated Judge Gibson as the General Equity Presiding Judge for Atlantic and Cape May Counties, effective April 1, 2025, amending the prior 2024–2025
