## Biography

### Professional career

- 1, 2026, serves as the first African American woman Circuit Court Judge for the 15th Judicial Circuit, covering Caroline, Essex, Hanover, King George, Lancaster, Northumberland, Richmond County, Spotsylvania, Stafford, Westmoreland Counties, and the City of Fredericksburg
- Judge of Virginia’s 15th Judicial District Court, elected in 2021, and in January 2026 became the first African American woman Circuit Court Judge for that circuit

- B.A. in Political Science, Norfolk State University M.A. in International Law and Legal Studies, Marymount University J.D., American University Washington College of Law (2004)
