- The elected State Court Judge for Houston County, Georgia, serving since November 2010, presiding over civil and criminal jury trials and advocating for mediation, court technology, and docket efficiency
- He has also been an adjunct professor for nearly 17 years at Middle Georgia State University (Computer Law) and taught Government Contracting at Georgia College and State University
