### Professional career

- Judge Jeanette Jackson Clark was appointed to the District of Columbia Superior Court in 2002 by President George W. Bush
- Deputy General Counsel of the District of Columbia Housing Authority for eighteen months between 1996 and 1997 and afterwards returned to WMATA before her appointment to the bench.
- After her clerkship, Judge Clark was an Associate with the law firm of Steptoe & Johnson until 1986.
- While at WMATA, Judge Clark practiced in the civil litigation and general law sections of the Office of the General Counsel and served as Special Assistant to a WMATA General Manager for two and one-half years
- Upon graduation from law school, Judge Clark served as a law clerk to the Honorable Warren R. King of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
