- Elected Judge of Probate for District 33 in 2017 and has since managed complex and sensitive cases

- Former board member and meal site server for Shoreline Soup Kitchens and Pantries (SSKP) since 2006
- She has also contributed to legal education, co-authoring the Connecticut Standards of Practice for Conservators (2018) and a 70‐page attorney training manual on probate proceedings
- Community lecturer on end‐of‐life issues, elder abuse, and probate law
- Judge Lewis presides over the Saybrook Probate Court (District 33), which serves Chester, Clinton, Deep River, Essex, Haddam, Killingworth, Lyme, Old Saybrook, and Westbrook
