### Professional career

- Judge of the 2nd Judicial District Court of Kansas and has held the role of Chief Judge of that district since 2020
- Reappointed as Chief Judge by the Kansas Supreme Court for the 2024–2025 term
- Position: Chief Judge (appointed by the Kansas Supreme Court in October 2020; reappointed for 2024–2025 terms)
- Served as Pottawatomie County Attorney from 1989 to 2001 (County Attorney)
