### Professional career

- John B. Adams (Georgia) — Current Charlton County State Court judge, re‐elected in 2016, and also serves on juvenile courts in multiple Georgia counties
- John R. Adams — U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Ohio, appointed in 2003
- In 1910, he was appointed county judge of Martin County, serving until 1914
- In 1906, he came to Stuart due to ill health, and in 1908 he became justice of the peace of Stuart
